Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus with secondary rear display surface in 3D render video

We have LG incorporating an additional secondary display on its V series with LG V10 and V20. Now, it looks like Meizu is also planning to add secondary display to its smartphone however it will be on the back. The upcoming Meizu Pro 7 and Pro 7 Plus have featured in a 3D render video that highlights the rear secondary display. The video was shared by popular tipster OnLeaks and Compareraja.

The rear secondary display is present just below the dual rear camera setup and is tipped to be an E-ink display that we have seen on the Yotaphone. According to the video, both the phones have USB Type C connectivity, 3.5mm headphone jack and loudspeaker grills at the bottom, Power and volume rockers are present on the right while there is a home button below the display which is baked by a fingerprint sensor.

The Meizu Pro 7 sports a 5.2 inch display while the Pro 7 Plus has 5.7 inch display. Both the phones are said to be powered by Helio X30 processor and feature two 12MP sensors from Sony (IMX386 and IMX286). Also present is a 16MP selfie shooter.

The Meizu Pro 7 is tipped to be priced at CNY 2,799 ($412) and between CNY 3,299 ($485) and CNY 3,799 ($559) for various versions of the Meizu Pro 7 Plus.
