Dell Streak India Launch in October ?

Dell is planning to launch it’s Android Tablet Phone the Dell Streak in India this October according to NDTV . This information was shared by Michael Tatelman, Dell’s Vice President for Global Consumer Channel Sales & Marketing.

There is no info on the price but we bet it can’t be below the Rs.25000 mark.  Who’s interested in buying the Dell Streak in India ?

UPDATE : This is what Dell told FoneArena regarding their plans for the Streak launch in India.

We want to get the product in market as soon as possible. October is aggressive. We will use our channels to distribute and sell it.

    Dell Streak is an Amazing Device.. It fits right between the empty Slot of Smart Phones & Netbooks

    As far as Froyo is concerned.. Dell Streak has ALL the necessary Hardware Specs to get the update….. It can even get the Android 3.0 Gingerbread…

    I just hope the price is @ or better still BELOW INR 25K… Wishful thinking…

    People come outta ur dreams ….dell will be selling its hi-tech streak slate at a wooping price of 40k…not joking i got a dealer who told me it’ll be sold at this price

    Guys forget streak it will be launched end of next year confirmed by Steve Felice, president of Dell’s small and medium business unit. Only option is ship it from UK which will work (3G, 2G) with Indian Cellular operators like Airtel, BSNL etc, now the problem is there are still lots of bugs(read UK, US forums) and incase you receive a buggy one no ones gonna help you out or replace it as there is no support from dell customer care in India for streak also no warranty since it is shipped item. So IMHO go for other mobile phones no authorised dealer can help you.
