Syntonetic has released a new app for Android, which is specially made for music lovers known as Moodagent. The Android app is available for all Android device running Android 1.5 or higher. The app allows you to listen the music in the way you want. This is a very good app and the ad supported version is available for free, but soon they will launch the ad-free version for $5 in select countries.

07.08.2010 – COPENHAGEN, Denmark – SyntoneticTM, creator of music playlisting and recommendation technologies, today announced that Moodagent is available for all mobile Android devices running OS 1.5 or higher, enabling Android users and music fanatics all over the world to experience and rediscover their music in entirely new ways.
Moodagent for Android further expands the product offering of the company that has already surpassed 2.5 million listeners worldwide on the iPhone and Nokia* variants.
Moodagent creates mood-based playlists using touchscreen sliders labeled Sensual, Tender, Happy, Angry and Tempo. Listeners create playlists by adjusting the sliders, or by “seeding” a song for an entire playlist of tracks with a similar mood. Unique to the Android version of the app is the new hide/show slider functionality, which allows the listener to toggle between the sliders and the playlist, and provides an incredibly effective tool for the various form factors and screen sizes of Android devices.
In addition to making great playlists, Moodagent provides the ability to share musical tastes with “friends” and “followers” on Twitter and Facebook at any time. Additionally, listeners can regulate the number of songs included in a playlist, from 10, 25 or 50 songs.
Moodagent features a number of other capabilities as well:
• Refresh or create multiple playlists from a single slider setup.
• Lock a track to ensure a particular song appears in each new playlist.
• Exclude a track or artist from inclusion in playlists, for example holiday music.
