Transcend, popular for its storage and multimedia products has launched SSD220S, its latest high-performance solid-state drive in India.
The Transcend SSD220S is rated for 550MB/s transfer speed and the DDR3 DRAM cache provides 4K random read and write performance up to 330MB/s.
It is 6.8mm thick and weighs 58g so that it can fit most modern notebook and replaces the heavier traditional hard drive, offering faster application loading times, start-up speeds and also reduces power consumption to help improve battery life. It also comes with a 3.5″ bracket for desktop.
