Xiaomi MIUI 8 Global Beta ROM for Mi Max, Redmi Note, Redmi 2 and more released

Xiaomi today rolled out global MIUI 8 beta ROM v6.7.5 for Redmi Note (3G and 4G), Redmi Note Prime, Redmi 2 and Mi Max (32GB) smartphones, as it had promised at the MIUI 8 global launch event last month.

MIUI 8 brings several new features such as redesigned colors, new Gallery app, Mi cloud photos, Scrolling screenshot, Dual apps to use two accounts in all your apps and dual space to manage work and personal profiles, new Calculator app with advanced calculations and conversions, Floating ball to add your favourite apps and frequent actions  for better one-handed control, MIUI caller ID to identify numbers from Amazon, Swiggy, Dominos, Zomato and more, T9 Hindi keyboard, Mobikwik integration and more.

MIUI 8 Beta ROMs for these devices are available for download from the MIUI forum here.  Android version remains the same for these devices.

Xiaomi said that it will roll out MIUI 8 ROMs for Mi 2/2S, Mi 3, Mi 4, Mi 4i, Mi 5, Mi Note, Redmi 1S, Redmi 2 Prime, Redmi Note 2, Redmi Note 3 (Snapdragon 650) gradually. Xiaomi already promised that it will release global stable ROMs starting from August 16th, 2016.
