Apple updates Macbook with new processors, releases Rose Gold variant, starts at Rs. 106900

Apple just released rose gold variant of last year’s 12-inch Retina Macbook that joins the gold, silver and space gray variants. It has also upgraded it with faster sixth-generation dual-core Intel Core M processors, 25% faster graphics performance with Intel HD Graphics 515, faster flash storage and an additional hour of battery life.

Macbook features an all-metal 13.1mm sleek unibody design, Force Touch trackpad and USB-C port. Apple promises up to 10 hours of wireless web browsing and up to 11 hours of iTunes movie playback. Apple also today made 8GB of RAM standard across all configurations of the 13-inch MacBook Air.

  • MacBook with 1.1 GHz dual-core Intel Core m3 processor (Turbo Boost speeds up to 2.2 GHz), 8GB of 1866MHz LPDDR3 RAM and 256GB of flash storage – Rs. 1,06,900 (MRP)
  • MacBook with 1.2 GHz dual-core Intel Core m5 processor (Turbo Boost speeds up to 2.7 GHz), 8GB of 1866MHz LPDDR3 RAM and 512GB of flash storage – Rs. 1,29,900 (MRP)

Refreshed MacBook will be available through select Apple Authorised Resellers across India starting tomorrow. It also has configure-to-order options with a 1.3 GHz dual-core Intel Core m7 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.1 GHz.
