Xiaomi has scheduled (Via) an event on October 19th to introduce a new product. The invite just says that it will be a next-generation Mi device, which hints at several upcoming devices such as the most rumored Mi 5, Mi 5 Plus and even the Mi Pad 2. The Chinese company introduced the Mi 4c smartphone last month and the Redmi Note 2 smartphone along with the Redmi Note 2 Prime were introduced in August.
According to earlier rumors, the Xiaomi Mi 5 will feature a 5.2-inch Quad HD screen with 2.5D Gorilla Glass protection, MediaTek Helio X20 / Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB RAM, 16-megapixel rear camera, 13-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3000mAh battery with quick charging.
The Mi 5 Plus is rumored to come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD screen with Gorilla Glass 4 protection, MediaTek Helio X20 / Snapdragon 810 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB of internal storage, 23-megapixel rear camera with OIS, 13-megapixel front-facing camera and a 3500mAh battery with quick charging.
We will have to wait for few more days for Xiaomi to reveal more hints about the upcoming product.
