Apple has updated 15-inch Macbook Pro with Retina display with Force Touch trackpad that was first introduced in the 13-inch Retina MacBook Pro earlier this year. It also gets faster PCIe-based flash storage, longer battery life that promises with up to 9 hours of wireless web browsing and optional AMD Radeon R9 M370X graphics, from NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M graphics. Apple also introduced a new version of 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display with quad-core processors and AMD graphics that now starts at Rs. 1,59,900, compared to the Rs. 1,79,900 version that was launched last year.
The new built-in force sensors allow you to click anywhere and haptic feedback that provides a responsive and uniform feel. It also enables a new gesture called Force Click, a click followed by a deeper press, for tasks like pulling up the definition of a word, quickly seeing a map or glancing at a preview of a file.
The new 27-inch iMac with Retina 5K display features a 3.3 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost Speeds up to 3.7 GHz and AMD Radeon R9 M290 graphics, 8GB of memory and 1TB of storage, four USB 3.0 ports and two Thunderbolt 2 ports. The top-end iMac with Retina 5K display features a 3.5 GHz quad-core Intel Core i5 processor with Turbo Boost speeds up to 3.9 GHz, AMD Radeon R9 M290X graphics and a 1TB Fusion Drive.
