Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge gets an update in India – Bug fixes, improvements in stability and performance

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge May 15 update

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Indian variant (G925I) is now receiving a new software update. The update is 161.84MB in size and changes the baseband version to G925IDVU1AOE2. The update brings around bug fixes, improvements in performance and stability.

Although it mentions improvements and fixes, the change-log doesn’t exactly mention what the improvements and fixes are. The change-log also states that there are new/enhanced features but again doesn’t mention what they are exactly. We will let you know once we find out more as to what they are.

So far the update seems to be only for the S6 Edge and not for the regular S6. We will let you know in case we get an update for that as well.

The phone is still on Android Lollipop 5.0.2 after the update so users waiting for the update to Lollipop 5.1 will have to wait a bit longer. The update to 5.1 is expected to come out sometime in June as we stated before.
