Vivo X5Max L

Last week Oppo introduced the Oppo R5 smartphone with 4.85mm slim body, thinner than the 5.1mm Gionee Elife S5.1. Now the Vivo X5Max L smartphone with just 4.75mm thickness has been certified on China’s TENAA certification website. The Vivo X5Max L  has a 5.5-inch 1080p display, powered by a 1.7GHz Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 1080p video recording and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

The dimensions of the smartphone are 153.9 × 78 × 4.75mm and it weighs 146 grams. It has 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage with expansion slot that accepts cards up to 128GB. It has support for 4G TD-LTE, TD-SCDMA connectivity and has dual SIM support. No details about the battery yet. According to the image, it seems to have a metal back cover.

The Vivo X5Max L is expected to be announced soon based on the hint from the company’s weibo page. The race to offer the slimmest smartphone is not likely to stop since several manufacturers have started competing for it.
