Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 LTE get a price cut in India

Samsung has officially reduced the price of the Samsung Galaxy S5 and Galaxy S5 LTE smartphones in India. The Galaxy S5 was launched in April in India for Rs. 51500. Now the smartphone is available from the Samsung India eStore for Rs. 37500. The LTE version of the Galaxy S5 that was launched as Samsung Galaxy S5 4G in July for Rs. 53500 is available for Rs. 40300.

Days after the Galaxy S5 went on sale, several online retailers started selling the smartphone for cheaper rates, but Samsung denied slashing the price of the smartphone. Several retailers have already slashed the prices of both these smartphones for even cheaper rates. Samsung usually cut the prices of older smartphones when it launches a new flagship.

Hope the Galaxy Note 4 that was launched for Rs. 58,300 in the country gets a price cut soon.
