Panasonic launched P77 smartphone with Voice over LTE (VoLTE) support back in September last year. Today it has launched 16GB storage version of the phone in the country, compared to 8GB RAM. Other specifications are same, including a 5-inch HD IPS fully laminated display, 1GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 2-megapixel front-facing camera, but it still runs on Android 5.1 (Lollipop). These have a 5.2-inch HD screen, runs Android 7.0 (Nougat), come with a 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, fingerprint sensor on the front and pack a 4000mAh battery, but the A3 comes with quad-core MediaTek MT6737 SoC, while the A3 Pro is powered by Mediatek MT6753 SoC. These phones also come with ARBO virtual assistant.

Panasonic today launched P85, the company’s latest smartphone in the ‘P Series’ and the Eluga Ray, its latest phone in ‘Ray series’ in India. Both the phones have a 5-inch HD display, 4000mAh battery, 4G VoLTE support and run Android 6.0 (Marshmallow).
In a market where differentiation between smartphone models is minimal at best, it is hard for a brand to make a mark. While specifications are increasingly becoming homologous across devices, we’re starting to see some interesting new additions in terms of software features. Panasonic, recently launched the Eluga Ray Max smartphone and while the phone is more than competitive from a hardware point of view, what’s under the hood is a lot more interesting. This understands your usage of the phone and will make it more intelligent based on the time and location, says the company. Arbo will be available for the phones by the end of April.
