
OnePlus just announced the OnePlus 8, the company’s latest flagship smartphone and the successor of last year’s OnePlus 7T in an online launch event, as it had promised. It has a 6.55-inch FHD+ Fluid AMOLED display, 90Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 16-megapixel in-screen camera with Sony IMX471 sensor. It has HDR 10+ support, tuned color accuracy rating of JNCD around 0.4 for life-like quality. OnePlus says that it has 4096 levels of auto brightness control and has A+ Display rating from DisplayMate. The OnePlus 8 has 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection, is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 865 SoC with X55 5G modem that supports both NSA and SA 5G, up to 12GB of RAM, and runs Android 10.0 with OxygenOS 10.
