As per a recent report, Google has confirmed the discontinuation of the Pixel 3a series – Pixel 3a and 3a XL. Right now, both the smartphones are not available for sale in the official Google Store. Google just announced the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL smartphones with 5.6-inch and 6-inch FHD+ OLED displays and Snapdragon 670 at the Google I/O event. At the event it said that these will start at $399 (Rs. 27,780 approx.) and $479 (Rs. 33,350 approx.). It has also announced the pricing and availability for India. Google just announced the Pixel 3a and Pixel 3a XL smartphones as expected. These have 5.5-inch and 6-inch Full HD+ OLED displays with, are powered by Snapdragon 670 Mobile Platform with 4GB of RAM, Titan M Security chip, have 12.2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), Dual Pixel auto focus, and an 8-megapixel front camera, both with AI-powered camera features.
Update — April 8, 2019: Google Play Developer Console device catalog has revealed that the Pixel 3a (Sargo) will come with a 2220×1080 pixels FHD+ 440 PPI display and Pixel 3a XL (Bonito) will come with a 2160 x 1080 pixels FHD+ 400 PPI display, which reveals display size of 5.6-inches and 6-inches, respectively as rumored earlier. This also confirms 4GB RAM for the phones.
