Gionee has released the KitKat update for its M2 smartphone in India, as it promised. Along with the Android 4.4′s features such as wireless printing, support for emojis and more, this update brings a new homescreen layout, Touchpal, Kingsoft Office and more, similar to other smartphones. Gionee has announced that it will roll out the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update for its M2 smartphone on September 5th in India. It was launched back in February running Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). The company released Android KitKat update for the Pioneer P4 in India earlier this week. It rolled out KitKat update for the Elife E7 mini and Elife S5.5 smartphones in India few weeks back.
