LG Electronics India Limited (LGEIL) has entered the chest freezer category in India with the launch of its Convertible Chest Freezer range. The portfolio comprises six models across 102L, 205L, 315L and 530L gross capacities, available in PRO and PLUS series variants.
The new range is aimed at cold-storage requirements across retail, HoReCa, dairy, ice cream, pharma and food storage, along with home consumption.
LG Convertible Chest Freezer Features
The PRO series supports one-touch convertible operation, allowing users to switch between chilling and deep-freezing requirements. These models have a temperature range of -31°C to +10°C and feature Ultra Freeze for rapid cooling. They also include digital temperature control and a digital temperature display.
The PLUS series uses knob-based temperature control and supports a temperature range of -25°C to +5°C. Across the range, LG has included a 70mm PUF-insulated cabinet, 75mm insulated door and 100mm insulated mid-part, along with a UV-protected body, flushed locks and pocket handles.
Other features include:
- Removable gaskets
- Castor wheels with brakes
- LED lights
- Premium baskets
The removable gaskets are provided for easier maintenance, while the castor wheels have brakes for movement and secure positioning.
BEE Ratings and Insulation
The portfolio includes 3-star, 4-star and 5-star BEE-rated models. The 315L PRO and 530L PRO models carry the latest BEE 5-star (2026) rating. The 102L PRO has a 3-star rating, while the 205L PRO, 315L PLUS and 530L PLUS models have 4-star ratings.
The 70mm PUF-insulated cabinet, 75mm insulated door and 100mm insulated mid-part help with temperature retention and cooling efficiency.

The LG Convertible Chest Freezer range will be available in different capacities and configurations. The India MRP for each model is as follows:

- 315L PRO: Rs. 48,990
- 530L PLUS: Rs. 51,990
- 530L PRO: Rs. 62,990
