vivo has unveiled its latest smartphone lineup, the vivo S60 series in China. The series includes the standard vivo S60 and the vivo S60e (also referred to as the Vitality Edition). The devices focus on a slim profile, advanced imaging capabilities, and robust battery life.
Design and Display
The Vivo S60 series features a lightweight design, measuring 7.92mm in thickness and weighing 199g. The lineup is available in three color variants:
- Starry Sea
- Early Summer Green
- Midsummer Night
The featured “Starry Sea” aesthetic utilizes a starburst lithography process, applying complex patterns onto a thin-film substrate via double-layer coating, high-precision photolithography stripping, and triangular pyramid 3D etching to achieve a diamond-like frosted texture.
The back of the device incorporates a unibody, light-reflecting cold-carved glass design that integrates the camera module directly into the rear panel. This is paired with a metal frame to enhance structural rigidity and tactile feel.
On the front, the series is equipped with a 6.59-inch 1260p flat screen supporting a 144Hz refresh rate.
Camera Systems and Spatial Imaging
For front-facing photography, both models utilize a 50MP selfie camera. The rear camera configurations differ between the two variants:

- 4K Live Capabilities: The series leverages video recording technology to capture stabilized and clear Live photos.
- 3D Spatial Visual Effects: Users can select any frame from a Live photo to generate a 3D spatial effect. Shaking the device produces a naked-eye 3D stereoscopic visual.
- Xiaohongshu Integration: Through a collaboration with the platform Xiaohongshu, the S60 series natively supports the posting of these 3D spatial images.

The vivo S60 series debuts the industry’s first “Gu Mei Component”, which displays the character “Gu Zi” directly on the screen. To complement the device’s celebrity endorsement, Vivo offers a selection of officially licensed, paid idol interface components alongside a fully customized user interface theme dedicated to Tian Xiwei.
