motorola launched the moto g37 Power 5G smartphone in ‘g Power series’ in India today. This has a 6.7-inch 120Hz screen, gets a huge 7000mAh battery, IP64 ratings, and military-grade durability. Here we have the first impressions of the phone.

The moto g37 Power has a 6.7-inch HD+ LCD screen with a center punch-hole, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1050 nits HBM brightness. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC, the phone has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It runs Android 16, and the company has promised an Android 17 update and 3 years of security updates for the phone.
The phone has an 8MP camera inside the punch hole. There is an earpiece on the top edge that doubles up as a secondary speaker. The phone also has Dolby Atmos. It has a slightly thicker bottom bezel, which is fine in the price range.
The power button, which integrates a fingerprint scanner, is present on the right side along with the volume rockers. The hybrid dual SIM slot is present on the left side. The 3.5mm audio jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and the loudspeaker grill are present on the bottom. The secondary microphone is present on the top and has Dolby Atmos branding.
There is a 50MP rear camera with EIS, along with a 2-in-1 light sensor. The phone supports 2K 30fps video recording from both the front and rear cameras. Check out some camera samples.
The phone is 8.89 mm thick even with a huge battery and has a PMMA finish on the back, but it also comes in a vegan leather finish in some options that feels smooth to touch and also has IP64 ratings for dust and splash resistance and MIL-STD 810H certification for military-grade durability. It has a 7000mAh battery with support for 30W fast charging with the bundled 33W turbocharger.
Priced starting at Rs. 15,999 for the 4GB + 128GB version, it will be available from Flipkart, motorola.in and will also be available from retail stores starting from May 25th.
