Headphone Zone has partnered with ddHiFi to introduce two co-branded in-ear monitors for the Indian market. Both models are developed from the ground up with ddHiFi founder Demond Ding, focusing on a mix of custom tuning, solid resin construction, and differentiated driver technology.
The launch positions Iris and Skyfall as budget-segment IEMs that bring materials and acoustic approaches typically used in higher-priced models. The products are targeted at Indian audiophiles and are designed specifically for local listening preferences.
Iris
The Iris is a single dynamic driver in-ear monitor built with a focus on midrange clarity. It uses a tuning approach where vocals and instruments are placed at the centre of the sound presentation, while other frequencies remain in a supporting role. This makes it suitable for listeners who prefer a more focused and balanced audio output.

The IEM uses a solid 3D-printed medical-grade resin shell and comes with a hand-painted marbled finish, making each unit visually different. The build is designed to avoid structural weak points commonly found in hollow or seam-based constructions used in budget models.
Key Features:
- 10mm dynamic driver with beryllium-plated diaphragm
- Midrange-focused tuning
- Solid 3D-printed medical-grade resin shell
- Hand-painted marbled green faceplate (unique per unit)
- 0.78mm 2-pin detachable cable design
- 3.5mm silver-plated OFC cable included
- Designed for vocals, rock, acoustic, pop, R&B, and jazz
Skyfall
The Skyfall is a hybrid in-ear monitor combining a dynamic driver and a balanced armature driver. It uses a two-way crossover system that blends electronic and acoustic tuning methods to manage frequency separation and tonal balance.
The tuning is set towards a warm and smooth sound profile with reduced treble emphasis. It is designed for extended listening sessions at higher volume levels without introducing listening fatigue, while maintaining a fuller and more layered sound character.

Key Features:
- Hybrid driver setup: 1 dynamic driver + 1 balanced armature
- 10mm nano-titanium diaphragm dynamic driver
- Two-way crossover system (electronic + acoustic design)
- Warm and smooth tuning with relaxed treble response
- Solid 3D-printed medical-grade resin shell
- Hand-painted marbled blue finish (unique per unit)
- 4.4mm balanced silver-plated OFC cable included
- Designed for cinematic music, electronic, hip-hop, and soundtracks
Pricing and Availability
The Headphone Zone X ddHiFi Iris and Skyfall IEMs are available in India through Headphone Zone’s official website. They are also available for in-person listening at the Headphone Zone Experience Studio in Mumbai and at Headphone Connect events held across India.
Speaking on the launch, Raghav Somani, Founder and CEO of Headphone Zone, said:
We went to ddHiFi for a new project aimed at the Indian audiophile community. An IEM that represented value for money for a beginner audiophile. But Demond asked us why India needed another budget IEM. And really, it didn’t. So he said, why not do something that’s never been done before in the budget segment? That conversation became the Iris and Skyfall.
