Xiaomi has launched the REDMI 15A 5G, the company’s latest 5G smartphone in India, as it has promised. It packs a 6.9-inch HD+ screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, triple TÜV Rheinland certification, an 8MP selfie camera inside the notch, and is powered by a Unisoc T8300 processor. It has up to 6GB of RAM with an additional 6GB RAM expansion.
The phone runs Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3.0 and will get 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates. The phone packs a 32MP main camera along with a secondary camera.
There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and it packs a 6300mAh battery with 15W fast charging with a charger in the box and promises up to 80% battery health even after 1000 charging cycles or over 3 years of use. There is also 7.5W reverse-wired charging.
