UltraProlink DriveLink 2-in-1 wireless car receiver launched

UltraProlink has launched DriveLink, a 2-in-1 wireless adapter for vehicles with factory-installed wired Android Auto or Apple CarPlay systems, enabling smartphone integration without connecting a cable each time the car is started.

DriveLink is designed exclusively for cars that already support OEM wired Android Auto or CarPlay, and users must verify compatibility before use. The adapter connects to the vehicle through the USB port and completes setup through a one-time Bluetooth pairing process with the smartphone.

After initial pairing, DriveLink reconnects automatically whenever the car is turned on, without requiring additional apps or manual setup beyond enabling Bluetooth and Wi-Fi. The adapter features a micro, thumb-drive-sized design that remains unobtrusive, avoids dashboard clutter, and includes a built-in LED to indicate power, pairing, and connection status.

The adapter supports both Android and iOS platforms, allowing multiple users to access the system in shared vehicles. Apple CarPlay supports iOS 10+, Android Auto supports Android 11+, wireless connectivity uses Bluetooth 5.4 and 5.8 GHz Wi-Fi, and the box includes a USB-A to Type-C converter.
