realme P4 Power 5G teased ahead of India launch

realme has started teasing the launch of P4 Power 5G, the company’s next phone in the P4 series, in India. This positions itself as a battery-centric device, with official teasers revealing key specifications regarding charging capabilities, form factor, and device longevity ahead of its official release.

Focus on Battery and Charging Efficiency

Marketing materials shared by the brand emphasize a “mAAAAAhsive” battery, suggesting a high-capacity cell is the device’s central feature. The teaser claims the device offers 1.5 days of usage on a single charge, contrasting it with competitor devices that typically require two charges to cover a similar period.

Notably, the device supports 27W Reverse Charging, a significantly higher wattage than the standard 5W or 10W reverse charging found in most smartphones. This feature positions the P4 Power 5G as a viable power bank for other accessories or devices. It also features Bypass Charging technology, which allows the phone to be powered directly from the outlet during intensive tasks like gaming, bypassing the battery to reduce heat generation.

Performance and Form Factor

Despite the focus on a large battery, the teaser highlights a “Pocket Friendly” design, specifying a weight of 218g. While this is heavier than standard smartphones, it is relatively lightweight for a device marketed on its “massive” battery capabilities.

In terms of display and performance, the promotional material claims the device will maintain a “Max Refresh Rate” consistently, avoiding the dynamic drops to 60Hz often used to save power on other devices. It also promises stable frame rates and thermal management, stating the device stays “Cool Even at 10%” battery life.

One of the most distinct claims in the teaser is a guarantee of “8 Years” of longevity.

Availability

The teaser confirms that the realme P4 Power 5G will be a Flipkart Unique product, continuing the brand’s trend of partnering with the e-commerce platform for its P-Series launches. The phone is expected to launch later this January, and we should know the exact launch date soon.
