LG Electronics has announced an expanded xboom audio lineup in collaboration with will.i.am, scheduled to debut at CES 2026. The new range builds on the 2025 xboom models, including Stage 301, Bounce and Grab, and introduces updated AI interaction, longer battery life and form factors designed for parties, outdoor use and everyday listening.
The latest products continue the collaboration’s focus on integrating sound performance with adaptive software features and flexible physical design.
xboom by will.i.am speakers
xboom by will.i.am speakers retain a balanced sound profile with enhanced bass tuning intended for extended listening. FYI.RAiDiO is now more deeply integrated across the lineup, enabling two-way conversational interaction with ten AI Personas and DJ profiles.
Using the MY Button on the speaker or the FYI.RAiDiO app, users can access real-time music curation and location-aware personalisation based on usage context and environment.
Expanded lineup introduces four new speaker models
The updated xboom range adds four new speakers — Stage 501, Blast, Mini and Rock — each developed for specific use cases. AI-driven processing is applied across the lineup:
- AI Sound analyses audio content and adjusts EQ settings to emphasise vocals, rhythm or melody
- AI Lighting synchronises multicolour bar lighting with music playback
- Space Calibration Pro (Stage 501 and Blast only) analyses surrounding acoustics and adjusts output for indoor and outdoor environments
xboom Stage 501: party speaker with AI Karaoke features
The xboom Stage 501 is designed for social and party settings and includes AI Karaoke Master, trained using deep learning on over 10,000 songs. The system can remove or reduce vocals from most tracks and adjust pitch, allowing users to sing solo, duet with the artist, or keep vocals at a lower level. The feature does not require dedicated karaoke files or subscriptions.
Key specifications include:
- Up to 25 hours of playback using a 99Wh swappable battery
- 220W output when connected to power and 160W on battery
- Five-sided cabinet design derived from the Stage 301 wedge format
- Multiple placement options, including vertical, horizontal, tilted and tripod-mounted setups
The speaker uses dual woofers, full-range drivers and Peerless tweeters.
xboom Blast: outdoor-focused speaker with extended playback
xboom Blast is designed for outdoor activities such as camping, beach use and backyard events. It delivers up to 35 hours of playback from a 99Wh battery and supports 220W output, supported by three passive radiators.
The design includes reinforced edges and has undergone military-standard durability testing. A side rope handle allows vertical carrying in crowded environments, while a rubberised top handle provides an alternative grip for transport.
xboom Mini: compact speaker for everyday environments
xboom Mini is positioned for indoor and casual portable use. It offers up to 10 hours of playback and uses Sound Field Enhance to maintain audio clarity in open or shared spaces.
Additional features include:
- Cube-shaped design with Magic Strap support
- IP67-rated water and dust resistance
- Built-in tripod mount
- Physical tactile controls for volume and playback
xboom Rock: rugged portable speaker with Auracast support
The xboom Rock is designed for outdoor conditions and has been tested against seven military durability standards. It provides up to 10 hours of playback and represents an updated version of the previous XG2 model.
Upgrades and features include:
- Increased output power of 6W
- Sound Field Enhance for wider sound dispersion
- LE Audio Auracast support for multi-speaker audio sharing
- Smart button for quick app access
Availability and CES 2026 showcase
The latest “xboom by will.i.am” speakers will roll out in global markets in 2026. The lineup will be showcased at Las Vegas Convention Center during CES 2026 from January 6 to January 9, at LG’s booth #15004.
