Vi has launched of its 5G services in Sonipat in Haryana after the launch of its 5G services in Mumbai, Delhi-NCR, Bangalore, Mysuru, Chandigarh, Patna, Nagpur and Jaipur.
Vi users in Sonipat with 5G-enabled devices can access Vi 5G services starting tomorrow. As an introductory offer, Vi is providing unlimited 5G data to users on plans starting from Rs. 299.
Vi has partnered with Nokia to deploy advanced, energy-efficient infrastructure and implemented AI-powered Self-Organizing Networks (SON) to automatically optimize network performance.
Vi said that it has also significantly upgraded its 4G network in Haryana to deliver enhanced coverage, faster data speeds, and overall superior user experience.
The company said that it has successfully deployed 900 MHz spectrum on 1700+ sites and doubled capacity on 1200+ sites from 5MHz to 10 MHz across key locations like Panipat, Sonipat, Bhiwani Rewari, Palwal, Jind, Sirsa, Hisar, Rohtak, Karnal, Ambala, Kurukshetra, Bahadurgarh and more. In addition, Vi has enhanced 2100 MHz spectrum capacity from 10 MHz to 15 MHz in over 1000 sites in Haryana. Vi has also installed 230+ new sites in the state.
Vi already said that it plans to launch 5G services in Pune, Nashik and Aurangabad next as a part of the company’s planned 5G rollout across 23 cities, covering its 17 priority circles where it has acquired 5G spectrum.
