HONOR has introduced the HONOR X70 smartphone in China, as it had promised. The phone packs a 6.79″ 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED display with up to 6000 nits peak brightness, is powered by Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 with up to 12GB of RAM.
The main highlight of the phone is the huge, 8300mAh third-generation silicon-carbon battery with six-year durability and is the second mobile phone battery to enter the 8000mAh segment after the company’s own HONOR Power.
Even with a huge battery, it weighs under 200 grams and is under 8mm. The phone has 80W fast charging, and is the first in the segment to support 80W wireless superfast charging (512GB model only).
The phone has the industry’s first gold label three-proof certification, SGS five-star reliability certification, uses a new bulletproof vest structure, aerospace-grade non-Newtonian fluid cushioning material with 2.5m drop resistance to a new height, 10+ ground drop resistance.
It also has industry’s first IP69K dust and water resistance certification that can withstand high-pressure water gun impact and boiling water immersion without damage, and supports AI rainstorm touch and AI glove touch.
