iQOO 15 is expected to launch this year as the successor to last year’s iQOO 13. Based on hints from the leaker Digital Chat Station, the flagship phone that will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (SM8850) should get a 50MP triple rear camera set up similar to the iQOO 13.
However, the company is said to move from a 50MP 2x telephoto camera to a 3x periscope telephoto camera setup, which is good news. The leaker added that this year’s iQOO flagship will still not come with any imaging co-branding like ZEISS, which is still exclusive to the vivo X series and other markets, and vivo V series in global markets.
Based on earlier rumours, the iQOO 15 is expected to pack a 6.85-inch 2K custom Samsung LTPO screen with ultra-narrow bezels on all the four sides. It is said to support Pol-less depolarization technology for reduced power consumption, increased brightness, and simplified manufacturing processes. The company is also expected to use AR anti-glare film for the screen. It is said to be the screen with the highest BOM cost among the upcoming flagships.
We should know more details about the iQOO 15 soon, since it is expected to launch only in October, after the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 gets introduced at the end of September in Snapdragon Summit 2025.
