Google has expanded the rollout of Veo 3, its AI video generation tool, to more users worldwide—including India—through the Google AI Pro subscription on the Gemini app.
What is Veo 3?
Unveiled at Google I/O, Veo 3 allows users to create 8-second AI-generated videos with sound, including synthesized speech, background music, and sound effects. From imaginative stories to surreal creations, users can generate highly creative videos with minimal input.
Safety & Watermarking
To ensure responsible use, Google employs extensive red-teaming, strict policy enforcement, and AI safety checks. All videos created from user photos include:
- A visible watermark, and
- An invisible SynthID digital watermark indicating AI generation.
Availability
Starting today, Veo 3 is becoming available worldwide in all regions supported by the Gemini app, including India, through the Google AI Pro subscription.
This plan not only grants access to Veo 3 video generation but also includes advanced AI features such as 2.5 Pro, Veo 2 Video Tools, Whisk, NotebookLM, Gemini Integration, and 2 TB of cloud storage.
