Xiaomi introduced Xiaomi Open Earphones Pro, the company’s first open-ear headset, as it had promised. These are open-fit earbuds with a unique bionic human auricle shape offering three-point support, ensuring a comfortable fit without pressing the ear. The 45mm deformable length adapts to more ear shapes for a stable fit, says the company.
Further, the company also claims to have adopted the industry’s first five-driver system, including a custom 18×13mm loudspeaker for increased low-frequency sensitivity, a dual driver unit + piezoelectric ceramic unit for high-frequency resolution of audio.
When it comes to audio quality, Xiaomi has partnered with Harman’s Golden Ear team for tuning, offering two special “Master Harman” sound modes. The earbuds support the LHDC 5.0 ultra-HD transmission protocol and are certified with the Hi-Res Audio Wireless gold standard, supporting up to 96kHz HD audio transmission.
These buds also offer up to 45 hours of playback and feature built-in audio recording and AI-powered translation and transcription, delivering added functionality when paired with the Xiaomi Earbuds app.
