Acer Predator Helios, Predator Triton and Nitro 7 gaming laptops with 10th Gen Intel CPUs, up to NVIDIA RTX 2080 GPUs announced


Acer has announced new refreshes for three of their gaming lineups: the Predator Triton, Predator Helios and Nitro 7 series. They have been equipped with Intel’s latest 10th Gen Core H-series processors, NVIDIA RTX GPUs, high refresh rate screens, updated thermal designs and new cooling technologies.

At the top of the line, the Predator Helios 700 comes with a unique design element: the sliding HyperDrift keyboard. The internals have been upgraded to either an overclockable 10th Gen Intel Core i9-10980HK or i7-10875H processor and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER or RTX 2070 SUPER GPUs.

Other features on the Helios 700 include Killer DoubleShot Pro, NVMe PCIe SSDs in RAID 0, 17.3-inch 144 Hz FHD IPS with G-Sync support, per-key RGB lighting and anti-ghosting on the keyboard, and up to 64GB of 2933 Hz memory.

The Predator Helios 300, a very popular offering from Acer, has been updated this year with the latest Intel Core H-series processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU with Max-Q Design. It features 240 Hz 15.6-inch FHD IPS display with 3 ms overdrive, up to 32GB RAM, and two PCIe NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 configuration.

Other technologies in the laptop include its 4th Generation AeroBlade 3D fan, Acer CoolBoost and DTS:X Ultra Audio.

The Acer Predator Triton 300 is a laptop that is geared towards gamers and content creators. It features 10th Gen Intel Core H-series CPUs, up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU with Max-Q Design, and a 15.6-inch FHD IPS 300 nits display with 240 Hz option and 100% of the sRGB color space support. It has a thin and light design (comparatively), measuring 19.9 mm thin and weighing 2.1 kg.

And finally, the Acer Nitro 7 has been updated with 10th Gen Intel Core H-series processor and up to a GeForce RTX 2060 GPU. The laptop has three slots for high-speed M.2 SSDs, support up to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM, Killer Ethernet E2600 and Intel  Wi-Fi 6. Screen options can go up to 15.6-inch non-glare FHD IPS display with a 144 Hz refresh rate and 3 ms response.

The Predator Helios 700 gaming notebook will be available in North America in October starting at $2,399.99 (Approx. Rs. 1,81,630) and the Predator Helios 300 gaming notebook will be available in North America in July starting at $1,199.99 (Approx. Rs. 90,814). The Predator Triton 300 gaming notebook will be available in North America in September starting at $1,299.99 (Approx. Rs. 98,382) and the Nitro 7 gaming notebook will be available in North America in October starting at $999.99 (Approx. Rs. 75,678).
