Vodafone India has announced a new offer that lets all users enjoy 100MB of free 2G or 3G data to celebrate Diwali this year. Free data is available only on November 11th and can be activated by sending a SMS DIWALI to 199. You will also get a confirmation SMS about the offer.
Commenting on the launch, Sunil Sood – Managing Director and CEO, Vodafone India said:

Vodafone has also launched new One rate, One South pack for customers in South India – AP & Telangana, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka. This allows customers in these states enjoy outgoing mobile calls – Local, STD and Roaming – at just 1p/sec without roaming charges from anywhere in South India.
Commenting on the new South roaming pack, Suresh Kumar, Operations Director – South, Vodafone India said:
South India has key economic and educational hubs with a significant percentage of population comprising of working professionals, students, migrant labourers, businessmen, traders, drivers who frequently travel between the five south states. To avoid incurring roaming charges, most of them tend to use dual or multiple SIMs. Having closely studied these customer usage patterns, Vodafone has designed the ‘One rate, One South’ pack for the benefit of 35 million
Vodafone prepaid customers across the five states, empowering them to use one number and remember only one calling rate, without worrying about any roaming rates. We are confident that our customers will benefit from this new worry free value proposition from Vodafone.
The new Vodafone One rate, One South pack costs Rs. 62 and will be available through Vodafone outlets, stores and mini stores across these states.
