Dolby and SRS entering Mobile Entertainment


Mobile Entertainment like movies and music has become an important part of a person’s life having a mobile phone. Companies like Nokia and Sony Ericsson are doing the best to enhance the experience of every individual who has a mobile phone. Nokia does it with N Series and Sony Ericsson with their W Series.

There is no audiophile in this world, who is not aware of Dolby Labs and SRS Labs. In the ongoing Mobile World Congress, which would be concluding tomorrow, both the companies have displayed their own potential to enhance mobile entrainment.
Dolby Labs showcased their technology that enhances mobile entertainment by improving the sound and performance of mobile phones and PMPs. Dolby joined hands with NTT DoCoMo and Sharp and they will be offering two mobile phones with Dolby Digital Technology in Japan. So next time you go to Japan, check your mobile has a Dolby Mobile Technology logo. 😉
Talking about SRS Labs, who have their codec in the famous Windows Media Player, the company announced of a headphone technology for mobile phones that unleashes ultimate surround sound for mobile videos.
Mobile phone is also called the Swiss Knife of the tech world, which has lot of functions, apart from voice connectivity. With these knew functions coming its way the Swiss knife just got better.
