Tutorial-Enable Macro Video Recording on Nokia Phone!

Warning-I say this from the beginning. FoneArena is not responsible if you damage your phone while doing this tutorial.

This is a tutorial on how to enable Macro/ Close Up Video Recording on Nokia phones. It has been tested on the Nokia N82, N95 8GB, N73 etc but it should also work on most other phones with Autofocus.

The tutorial may sound stupid and fake but it’s not. it works for real. Just try it out. Now here’s the tutorial:

1. Activate the camera, and make sure it is in video mode.
2. Have a good hold on the lower part of your phone (like the way you would hold a credit card).
3. Carefully slap the phone against the palm of your other hand. You don’t need to apply too much force. With your right hand supporting the lower part, along with minimal force, just let the weight of the phone fall against your left hand with the camera facing your palm. This should now activate macro mode and ready for recording.

The trick behind this is that at first the camera doesn’t notice the close object and when you hit it, you are actually forcing the lens to focus onto the object. Kind of like simulated autofocus.

Go ahead and try it out.
