Motorola pulls out of the lawsuit filed against Apple in August

Motorola had filed a lawsuit against Apple over seven patents in August which if won would ban every device manufactured by Google from iPhone to the iMac. Now reports are that Google owned Motorola is taking a step back and pulling back the lawsuits which they had filed on import ban of Apple products.

Motorola has not yet provided an official statement to this move. But we are guessing that they just noticed a loophole in their case and might have taken back the lawsuit to re-asses and make the lawsuit even stronger. For now Apple can heave a sigh of relief. We all know that these huge lawsuits go on for months, maybe even for years.

There is also a possibility that Apple CEO Tim Cook contacted Motorola and told them to back off, but that is highly unlikely to happen. Anyways, we shall see what Motorola has to offer from its vast patent library.
