INALSA has launched the Complete Sliding Care, a 2-in-1 standing garment steamer and iron in India. It supports vertical steaming and conventional ironing, with a digital display on the handle for adjusting temperature and steam output. INALSA describes it as India’s first 2-in-1 standing garment steamer and iron and says it is the only standing garment steamer in India to offer seven heating levels and three steam levels at the touch of a button.
The appliance uses a dedicated steam pump to push water from the tank to the boiler. According to INALSA, this system provides a steady steam supply and addresses weak bursts, water spitting and interruptions associated with gravity-fed steamers. It heats up in 40 seconds and has a translucent, detachable water tank that can be removed for refilling and cleaning.
Users can steam garments such as silk sarees and blazers vertically or lay the ironing board flat to press collars, cuffs and pleats using the extra-large ironing plate. The board tilts to 45°, 90° and 180°, while the telescopic double poles offer four height levels. The handle also rotates 90° to allow users to change their grip while ironing. Safety features include anti-drip protection, a pressure-release safety valve and automatic shut-off.
