OPPO today launched the OPPO F35 Pro 5G smartphone in India as the successor to last year’s F33 Pro smartphone. This has a bigger 144Hz AMOLED screen, a faster SoC, a 50MP ultra-wide front camera, and packs a huge 8000mAh battery and has IP69K ratings. Here we have the unboxing and the first impressions of the phone.

The phone packs a 6.78-inch 1.5K 120Hz AMOLED screen with up to 1,800 nits full-screen brightness and a peak local brightness rated at 3,600 nits and also has up to 2160Hz high-frequency PWM dimming. This is a good upgrade compared to the 6.57-inch FHD+ 120Hz AMOLED screen in the predecessor. The display has AGC DT-Star D+ glass protection. Outdoor visibility is good.

It is powered by an Octa Core MediaTek Dimensity 7360 MAX processor, has up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and has up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. It runs Android 17 with ColorOS 16.5 out of the box. Thermal management is handled by a 5,000mm² vapor chamber.

The phone has a 50MP auto focus front camera with an 100° FoV for better selfies. Above the display, there is an earpiece on the top edge that works as a secondary speaker. The phone has an optical fingerprint sensor, and you can see a small 1.9mm bezel below the screen.

Coming to the button placements and ports, the power button and the volume rockers are present on the right. The dual SIM slot, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and speaker grill are crammed in the bottom. The secondary microphone is on the top, and the IR blaster is on the back.

The phone has a 50MP rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture. It supports 4K 30fps video recording for front and rear cameras. Check out some camera samples.

The phone has a flat plastic back with a matte finish offering a good in-hand feel, so it doesn’t slip out of your hands easily. The Wave Blue version that we have has nice patterns. It also comes in Sunrise Orange, which has different patterns, and in Twilight Brown color.

While some have started offering IP69 ratings, the OPPO K14 Plus 5G achieves IP69K certification, the most stringent ingress protection standard available for consumer electronics. It can withstand pressurized water jets at 80°C from multiple angles at close range, allowing the device to endure harsh monsoons and high-pressure cleaning. It packs an 8,000 mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC flash charging.

The OPPO F35 Pro 5G is priced starting at Rs. 45,999 for the 6GB + 128GB model. The phone is now available to pre-order and will be available for purchase starting October 11, 2026 across offline retail channels, the OPPO India E-Store, Flipkart, and Amazon.in.
