Dyson has launched the V16 Piston Animal cordless vacuum in India. It is the company’s most powerful anti-tangle cordless vacuum and comes with the new All Floor Cones Sense cleaner head, which uses two conical brush bars to capture hair as it is picked up. The conical design moves hair from the thicker centre sections towards the thinner outer ends, where it is sucked directly into the bin, and can eject hair up to 25 inches long from the brush bar.
The All Floor Cones Sense cleaner head also detects changes in floor types and automatically adjusts suction power and brush bar rotation speed. It slows the brush bars for hard floors, with improved acoustics, and increases their speed for carpets. As a result, the same cleaner head combines the carpet cleaning approach of the Dyson Digital Motorbar with the hard-floor cleaning of Dyson Fluffy cleaner heads, without requiring users to switch cleaner heads between floor types.

Dyson’s “How India Cleans” Study 2026 found that 51.6% of Indians say spaces under beds and furniture are often left uncleaned, while 47.5% say they struggle to effectively clean corners, edges and skirting boards. The study highlights areas that can be harder to reach during everyday cleaning, while the V16 Piston Animal uses its LED illumination and filtration system for cleaning and dust capture.
