OPPO expands its audio portfolio in China with the launch of the Enco X4 earbuds alongside the Find X10 Pro Max smartphone. The OPPO Enco X4 features fourth-generation Dynaudio co-developed coaxial dual drivers, a dual DAC crossover architecture, an ultra-transient cast diaphragm, and a concentric symmetrical magnetic circuit.
Compared with the Enco X3, OPPO says the Enco X4 has 50% higher low-frequency driving force and 20% lower full-frequency distortion, based on laboratory data. The earbuds offer five Dynaudio-tuned sound styles:

The Enco X4 supports 48kHz/24-bit lossless audio and all-scenario spatial audio, with up to a 400% increase in transmission rate compared with the Enco X3. Golden Hearing scans the ear canal and tests hearing characteristics, while Master Tuning Code lets users share tuning parameters.
For noise cancellation, each earbud uses a 6nm advanced-process chip from 12nm in the predecessor. Compared with the Enco X3, OPPO says the Enco X4 delivers:
- 800% increase in hardware performance
- 200% increase in overall noise cancellation capability
- 250% increase in vocal noise cancellation capability
- Up to 99.8% suppression of everyday noise
The earbuds include four ear tip sizes and a fit test, while the foamed silicone ear tips help block noisy speech. Adaptive mode adjusts noise cancellation and transparency levels based on the environment, with three adjustable levels. Conversation perception also allows users to have brief conversations without removing the earbuds.
The noise cancellation system also supports calls in environments with up to 110dB ambient noise and wind speeds of up to 15m/s (Level 7). A 6nm NPU AI processor and VPU bone conduction microphone support vocal separation during calls.
The Enco X4 also supports AI translation on Android and iOS in over 20 languages. Translated speech plays through the earbuds while real-time text appears on the screen. The cloud-based feature has a 5,000-minute monthly limit. The earbuds can also be used for Dolby audio recording for vlogs and live streams.
The Enco X4 supports cross-ecosystem dual-device connection, automatic audio switching, and dual-earbud audio sharing on ColorOS 16.0.6 and above. It also supports:
- Real-time cervical spine health monitoring and reminders
- Sleep detection
- OPPO Lingxi Bluetooth and Bluetooth 6.1
- Up to 39ms full-link game latency
- Earphone focus and white noise modes
- Xiao Bu voice assistant
The earbuds support pressure and sliding controls, hands-free voice commands, and head motion controls. Users can use voice commands to play music, skip tracks, adjust volume, open translation, and answer calls, while nodding answers incoming calls and shaking the head rejects them. The earbuds have an IP55 rating for dust and water resistance.
According to OPPO, battery life is rated at:
- 53 hours with case, ANC off, AAC
- 26 hours with case, ANC on, AAC
- 22 hours with case, ANC on, LHDC
- 13 hours earbuds only, ANC off, AAC
- 6 hours earbuds only, ANC on, AAC
- 5.5 hours earbuds only, ANC on, LHDC
A 10-minute charge provides up to 4.5 hours of listening, while the case supports wireless charging.
The HeyMelody app provides access to battery level, noise control, master tuning, Golden Hearing, spatial audio, personalized themes, game mode, dual-device connection, earbud fit detection, and finding the earbuds.
