It has a 15,000mm² graphite sheet to manage the heat.

The phone runs Android 16 with HiOS 16 on top, and the company has promised two major Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates for the device. There are several AI features in the phone such as AI Noise Cancellation, AI LightMaster 2.0 and more.

Coming to button placements, the power button, which embeds the fingerprint scanner, is present on the right along with volume rockers. The POVA 8 5G retains the series’ signature sci-fi-inspired design language, incorporating sharp geometric elements and a semi-transparent rear panel.

A central aspect of the phone’s exterior design is the new Alive Matrix Display, a customizable light panel located on the back of the device. This panel supports up to 49 distinct animations that trigger during specific events, including: Incoming calls and notifications, charging status, and active gaming sessions.

The phone packs an 8000mAh battery, and the company claims it can provide up to two days of usage. It has 45W fast charging support.

The POVA 8 5G starts at Rs. 29,999. It will be available from Flipkart starting from June 18th from leading retail stores and online platforms across India.
