Xiaomi has introduced its latest ecosystem lineup globally, expanding its portfolio with the Xiaomi Sound Play alongside the Xiaomi Watch S5. The portable speaker is built on the Red Dot Award-winning Sound design language and combines immersive audio, dynamic lighting, and rugged portability in a compact, textile-wrapped design.
Xiaomi Sound Play delivers 18W high-power audio tuned for room-filling sound, designed for everyday scenarios such as workouts, morning routines, outdoor gatherings, and relaxation.
The speaker integrates a dual ambient lighting system featuring an infinity mirror light on the top and surrounding lighting at the bottom. It supports five color effects and three lighting modes—Drumbeat, Water ripple, and Always-on—allowing users to adjust the visual experience based on mood and environment.
For audio expansion, it supports True Wireless Stereo (TWS) for pairing two units as left and right channels. It also includes Auracast™ party mode, enabling up to 100 compatible speakers to sync playback for a coordinated audio and lighting setup in larger spaces.
Built for durability, the device features IP68 dust and water resistance for protection against sand, rain, and dust. It packs a 2,600mAh battery offering up to 14 hours of playback, with a full recharge time of around 2.5 hours. The speaker is available in Black, White, Green, and Purple colour options.
