Apple WWDC 2026 schedule, keynote time announced

Back in March, Apple announced that its WWDC 2025 conference will begin on June 8th and go on until June 12th. Now, it has confirmed that the keynote will happen at 10 AM PDT (10:30 PM IST) on June 8th.

WWDC26 will function primarily as an online event, featuring over 100 video sessions, live Group Labs, and forum discussions. Additionally, an in-person gathering for more than 1,000 invited developers, designers, and students will occur at Apple Park on June 8.

Key Opening Events

The conference will begin on June 8 with two main presentations detailing upcoming software and platform changes, including scheduled announcements regarding artificial intelligence.

  • Apple Keynote (June 8, 10:00 a.m. PDT): This presentation provides an initial overview of the latest updates coming to Apple’s operating systems and platforms. It will be available for live streaming on apple.com, the Apple TV app, and the Apple YouTube channel, with on-demand playback available following the conclusion of the stream.
  • Platforms State of the Union (June 8, 1:00 p.m. PDT): Following the Keynote, this session offers a deeper technical examination of new features, application programming interfaces (APIs), and technologies. It will stream on the Apple Developer app, the Apple Developer website, YouTube, and bilibili.
Developer Resources and Engagement

Throughout the week, Apple will provide various educational resources and interactive sessions for the developer community:

  • Video Sessions and Guides: Apple engineers and designers will host sessions detailing specific development tools, technologies, and design principles. Curated guides will also be provided to help participants navigate the week’s announcements by topic and platform.
  • Group Labs: From Tuesday through Friday, developers can participate in live, online presentations and Q&A sessions. These labs, lasting up to 60 minutes, will cover topics such as Apple Intelligence, developer tools, design, graphics and games, and machine learning. Apple personnel will also monitor the Apple Developer Forums to answer technical questions.
Awards and Student Recognition

WWDC will also recognize specific contributions from the broader developer and student communities.

  • Apple Design Awards: These awards acknowledge technical execution, creativity, and design across six categories: Delight and Fun, Inclusivity, Innovation, Interaction, Social Impact, and Visuals and Graphics. Apple recently announced 36 finalists, with the winners scheduled to be revealed in the coming weeks.
  • Swift Student Challenge: This ongoing program recognizes student developers. Out of 350 total winners this year, 50 individuals were designated as Distinguished Winners and invited to Cupertino for a special three-day in-person experience during the week of the conference.
  • Accessing WWDC Content: Conference materials, sessions, and updates will be accessible globally via the Apple Developer app, the Apple Developer website, and the Apple YouTube channel. Additional conference coverage can be followed on LinkedIn, WeChat, and bilibili.
