XElectron has announced the launch of the Luminex Smart Projector in India. It is designed for a home cinema setup and features Native Full HD (1080p) resolution, 4K decoding support, and a 180° rotatable design for flexible wall and ceiling projection.
The device is powered by a 60W LED light source with a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours. It supports a projection size of up to 250 inches and includes auto focus, auto keystone correction, auto screen alignment, and auto obstacle avoidance for automatic setup and alignment.
The projector runs on Whale OS with certified OTT apps, providing built-in access to streaming platforms including Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Zee5, SonyLIV, and Jio Hotstar, eliminating the need for external streaming devices.
For connectivity, it offers dual-band Wi-Fi, AirPlay and Miracast screen mirroring, and Bluetooth 5.2 for wireless audio. It also includes HDMI and USB ports for external device support such as laptops and gaming consoles.
