Samsung 2026 Micro RGB TV lineup starts rolling out

Samsung Electronics has announced the roll out of its 2026 Micro RGB TV lineup in the US, introducing two new series — the R95H and R85H. The lineup spans multiple screen sizes from 55-inch to 115-inch and is positioned in the premium TV segment with a focus on display precision and AI-based processing.

The display system uses individually controlled microscopic red, green, and blue LEDs, allowing each color channel to operate independently. This reduces color overlap and improves precision in image reproduction, enabling wider and more accurate color output.

The TVs are verified by VDE and achieve 100% coverage of the BT.2020 color space, an international standard defined by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The R95H model includes Samsung Glare Free technology for maintaining visibility and contrast in bright environments.

Key enhancements include:

  • Micro RGB AI Engine Pro for real-time picture calibration
  • Micro RGB Color Booster Pro for improving dull color scenes
  • Micro RGB HDR Pro for enhanced highlight brightness and HDR output
  • AI Motion Enhancer Pro for smoother motion in fast-moving content

The processor improves sharpness, color accuracy, motion handling, and audio processing. It also supports smart TV functions through AI-based optimization of apps and content experiences.

For gaming, the R95H supports Motion Xcelerator 165Hz and the R85H supports 144Hz, reducing lag and motion blur. Audio features include Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound, while Q-Symphony allows synchronized playback across multiple compatible Samsung audio devices.

Additional features and smart ecosystem

The R95H supports Wireless One Connect Ready, enabling flexible wired or wireless connectivity options. Both models support Slim Fit Wall Mount installation and include access to Samsung Art Store.

Key smart and ecosystem features include:

  • Samsung Art Store with over 5,000 artworks from global museums, galleries, and artists
  • Art Store Streams offering 30 free rotating artworks each month
  • Samsung Vision AI Companion with Bixby for conversational AI interactions
  • Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity support for AI-based search and assistance
  • AI Soccer Mode Pro for enhanced sports visuals and audio optimization
  • AI Sound Controller Pro for independent control of dialogue, music, and background audio

The TVs run on One UI Tizen, featuring Samsung TV Plus with over 2,700 free streaming options and more than 750 subscription-free channels, along with Samsung Gaming Hub. The platform supports up to seven years of OS updates.
