Whirlpool of India Limited has launched its new ‘No Tension Refrigerators’ range in the single-door category, aimed at removing the need for manual defrosting. The lineup includes the Vitamagic and IMPRO PLUS series and is positioned as the largest range of automatic defrost refrigerators in the single-door segment.
In single-door refrigerators, ice buildup in the freezer typically requires manual defrosting. This process involves switching off the appliance, removing stored items, waiting for ice to melt, and managing water spillage, which can interrupt regular usage, particularly during peak summer months.
Whirlpool addresses this issue with 6th Sense IntelliFrost Technology, which detects ice buildup and automatically starts the defrosting process without user intervention. This reduces manual effort and helps avoid internal water spillage during operation.

The new range includes Vitamagic and IMPRO PLUS models, designed to support automatic defrosting along with cooling control and food preservation functions for everyday use.
