Motorola, a Lenovo Company, announced new consumer and enterprise solutions at Mobile World Congress 2026. The company revealed a partnership with the GrapheneOS Foundation to enhance smartphone security for users globally. Additionally, Motorola introduced Moto Secure and Moto Analytics to expand its B2B offerings with advanced security features and operational insights for organizations.
GrapheneOS Foundation Partnership
Motorola has partnered with the GrapheneOS Foundation, a nonprofit organization that develops a hardened Android-based operating system. The collaboration aims to strengthen smartphone security and support future devices designed for GrapheneOS compatibility.
The partnership combines GrapheneOS’s technical expertise with Motorola’s security experience and Lenovo’s ThinkShield solutions. Motorola and the GrapheneOS Foundation will continue collaborating on joint research, software enhancements, and new security features, with further updates to be shared as the partnership progresses.
Moto Analytics
Motorola introduced Moto Analytics, an enterprise-grade analytics platform that provides IT administrators with real-time insights into device performance across their fleet. Unlike traditional enterprise mobility management (EMM) tools that focus primarily on access control, Moto Analytics tracks app stability, battery health, and connectivity performance.
The platform enables IT teams to identify and resolve issues efficiently, prevent potential problems, and maintain operational productivity. Integrated with the ThinkShield ecosystem, Moto Analytics can scale across enterprise environments.
Private Image Data in Moto Secure
Motorola expanded its Moto Secure platform with Private Image Data, a feature that removes sensitive metadata from photos. When activated, it automatically strips details such as location and device information from new camera images, while keeping the images themselves intact.
Private Image Data is part of Moto Secure, which consolidates privacy and security tools including app permission management, sensitive file protection, and device integrity monitoring. The feature will begin rolling out to Motorola signature devices in the coming months, with additional updates expected over time.
Enterprise and Consumer Solutions
With these initiatives, Motorola is extending its enterprise and consumer offerings with solutions focused on security, operational visibility, and device management. The announcements reflect Motorola’s approach to integrating advanced security and analytics into both business and personal devices.
Speaking on the partnership, a spokesperson at GrapheneOS said:
We are excited to be partnering with Motorola to bring GrapheneOS’s industry‑leading privacy and security‑focused mobile operating system to their next-generation smartphone. This collaboration marks a significant milestone in expanding the reach of GrapheneOS, and we commend Motorola for taking this meaningful step towards advancing mobile security.
