Tesla has announced its first official presence in Bengaluru with a pop-up experience scheduled for later this month. Marking the brand’s debut in the city, the event will be hosted at the ACKO Drive Service Centre in Kudlu Gate from January 15 to January 31, 2026.
This initiative is designed to offer potential customers and enthusiasts an opportunity to view Tesla’s offerings up close, reflecting the company’s ongoing efforts to expand its footprint in the Indian market.
Event Overview and Visitor Experience
The pop-up will feature four Tesla Model Y vehicles. Visitors can expect guided walkarounds and interactive product experiences aimed at explaining Tesla’s design philosophy, safety features, and electric vehicle (EV) technology. The environment is intended to be educational, providing insights into performance capabilities and sustainable mobility.
According to the announcement, the choice of location aligns with Bengaluru’s status as a significant technology and innovation hub, catering to a growing interest in electric mobility within the region.
Test Drives and Availability
To facilitate a practical understanding of electric driving, the pop-up will offer test drives throughout the duration of the event.
- Timings: Test drives are available daily from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
- Booking: Interested customers must book their slots in advance through the Tesla India website.
Focus on Model Y
The event highlights the Model Y, notably recognized as the world’s best-selling vehicle in 2023 and 2024. The vehicle has secured 5-star safety ratings from various global organizations. Key features being highlighted include:
- Charging Efficiency: With Tesla Supercharging, the Model Y can recover up to 267 km of range in 15 minutes.
- Home Charging: The vehicle is available in India with support for home charging solutions.
- Safety and Performance: The display aims to demonstrate the vehicle’s benchmarks in safety, efficiency, and technology.
