Samsung Electronics has announced that it will showcase its latest kitchen appliance lineup at CES 2026. The lineup includes updated versions of the Bespoke AI refrigerator, over-the-range (OTR) microwave, and slide-in range. Samsung will also outline upgrades to vision-based AI features powered by Google Gemini and Google Cloud.
Bespoke AI Refrigerator with upgraded AI Vision
Samsung will introduce a new Bespoke AI Refrigerator Family Hub featuring an upgraded AI Vision system. This marks the first time Google Gemini is being integrated into a refrigerator.
Earlier versions of AI Vision could recognize up to 37 types of fresh food and 50 types of pre-registered processed food directly on the device. The updated version removes these limitations and is designed to recognize a wider range of food items.
The system is planned to identify processed foods without requiring separate registration and automatically add their names to the food list. It is also designed to detect user-labeled items, allowing foods stored in personal containers to be added to the inventory list.
With more accurate ingredient recognition, food list management becomes clearer and easier, the company said.
Bespoke AI Wine Cellar with AI Vision
Samsung will also exhibit the new Bespoke AI Wine Cellar, which incorporates AI Vision technology built with Google Gemini.
A camera positioned at the top of the unit recognizes wine labels when bottles are placed or removed. The system tracks each bottle and updates the SmartThings AI Wine Manager automatically. It can also identify the specific shelf and compartment where each bottle is stored.
Through the AI Wine Manager, users can check bottle locations, look up wine information, and receive pairing suggestions based on the wines in their collection.
Unified stainless-look kitchen design
Samsung is introducing refreshed French Door refrigerators, slide-in ranges, and new OTR microwave models with a unified stainless-look finish.
The new Bespoke AI 3-Door French Door refrigerator supports zero-clearance installation with side gaps of approximately 4mm. Its door depth has been reduced by 50mm compared to the conventional 3-Door model, enabling full access to drawers and stored items when the doors are fully opened. The AutoView transparent door allows users to view stored items without opening the refrigerator.
The updated slide-in range features a redesigned stainless-look exterior across the control panel, knobs, and door. It adopts a bar-style handle and includes a Precision Knob designed to improve safety.
New over-the-range microwave models
Samsung will unveil two OTR microwave variants: the Air-Fry OTR and the DualVent OTR.
The DualVent model introduces a revised hood structure. Conventional OTR systems often struggle to capture smoke from front burners due to limited depth. Samsung’s updated design adds a front ventilation wing in addition to bottom ventilation, improving smoke capture compared to the previous model.
Samsung at CES 2026
Visitors to Samsung’s booth at CES 2026 will be able to see the new kitchen appliances and AI features on display. Samsung will demonstrate the expanded capabilities and new use cases of AI Vision, outlining how the updated vision-based AI functions across its latest kitchen lineup.
Speaking on the announcement, Jeong Seung Moon, Executive Vice President and Head of the R&D Team for the Digital Appliances (DA) Business at Samsung Electronics, said:
In pioneering the application of vision-based AI technology, Samsung has driven innovation in the kitchen appliance market. Samsung will reach a new level of innovation through this collaboration with Google Cloud and will use these ongoing initiatives to continue delivering improved consumer experiences in the coming year.
