Sennheiser has launched the HDB 630 wireless headphones in India after their global debut earlier this year. They feature a closed-back build with a Japanese-leatherette headband, metal elements, and over-ear pads designed for a sealed acoustic structure that maintains detail and channel separation.
The headphones use 42 mm in-house transducers and support up to 24-bit / 96 kHz playback through USB-C or analog input. The tuning is neutral, with clear mids, extended treble, and a wide soundstage. Battery life is rated up to 60 hours with fast charging. Bluetooth 5.2 is supported with aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX, AAC, and SBC, while the included BTD 700 USB-C dongle enables high-resolution aptX Adaptive audio on devices without native codec support.
The transducer system uses an optimised magnetic mesh and enhanced acoustic back volume to improve bass response while keeping mid and treble performance consistent. Hybrid adaptive ANC is included, with a transparency mode for hearing surroundings when needed. The Smart Control Plus app allows parametric EQ and crossfeed adjustments for additional sound control.
