
Samsung started rolling out One UI 8 beta update based on Android 16 starting from the Galaxy S25 series back in May. The Galaxy Z Flip7, and the Z Fold7 are the first devices to run One UI 8 out of the box.
Today, the company has confirmed that the roll-out will happen for more devices this August and in September.
One UI 8 beta for more devices
The Samsung One UI 8 beta is coming to Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6 beginning next week in Korea, the U.S., the U.K. and India.
Samsung Galaxy S23 series, Z Fold5, Z Flip5, A36 5G, A55 5G, A35 5G and A54 will get the update starting from September 2025.
One UI 8 will also offer users control over data processing, with options to keep data on-device, as many Galaxy AI features will utilize a hybrid of on-device and cloud-based AI processing. Beyond AI, One UI 8 will introduce several features aimed at enhancing everyday convenience.
One UI 8 stable update in September
The One UI 8 stable update will roll out starting from September, starting with the Galaxy S25 series, confirmed the company. Samsung also said that the One UI 8 Watch will expand to more Galaxy Watch models beyond the Galaxy Watch8 series later this year.
