realme has reached a significant milestone, crossing 300 million users globally, according to data from Counterpoint Research. This achievement marks a period of accelerated growth for the company, which previously hit the 100 million user mark in 2021 and subsequently doubled it to 200 million by 2023. The latest addition of 100 million users was achieved in what the company notes as record time.
realme’s product portfolio is structured to serve various consumer segments and budgets. This includes the flagship-level GT series, the mid-range number series which emphasizes photographic capabilities, and the P Series which is oriented towards performance. This diverse lineup aims to provide options for a wide range of young users.
To align with youth culture, realme said that it has pursued collaborations with a variety of popular intellectual properties (IPs). Past partnerships include the Aston Martin Formula One® Team, Coca-Cola, and the popular mobile game BGMI. The company views the 300 million user figure as a representation of individual user experiences.
In addition to its product and marketing strategies, realme said that it has cultivated a global community of over 15 million fans. The brand actively engages this base through regular events, most notably the annual 828 Global Fan Festival, which commemorates its founding anniversary on August 28th.
The previous year’s festival, held in Shenzhen, was attended by international media and fans and featured the unveiling of new technology, including a 320W charging solution capable of providing a full charge in approximately 4 minutes.
As realme prepares to celebrate its 7th anniversary this August, anticipation is building for the upcoming 828 Fan Festival, where the brand is expected to announce its latest innovations to its growing user community.
