
ASUS India has launched a new laptop repair system called Drop Zone, now available at select ASUS Exclusive Stores. This initiative allows users to hand over their laptops for service without needing to travel to a traditional service center, aiming to simplify the repair process and reduce downtime.
Service Infrastructure Across India
The Drop Zone launch complements ASUS’ wide-reaching support operations in India, which currently include:
- More than 200 service centers
- On-site repair services across 14,900+ pin codes
- Coverage across 761 Indian districts
ASUS also provides round-the-clock online support through phone, live chat, email, and remote troubleshooting. In addition, the MyASUS app and official ASUS YouTube channels help customers find solutions independently through guided steps and tutorials.
How the Drop Zone Works
Initially offered for ASUS laptops under warranty, this drop-off program follows a six-step process:
- Customers walk into a participating ASUS Exclusive Store and submit their device.
- An ASUS representative checks the device for visible issues and performs a basic software evaluation.
- A job sheet is issued, and the laptop is accepted for servicing.
- The service center opens the unit and shares further updates with the customer.
- After repairs finish, the laptop goes back to the store.
- Customers are notified and must bring the job sheet to collect their device. If it’s missing, standard recovery terms apply.
This setup links ASUS retail stores and service facilities for faster processing and easier tracking.
Availability
These cities are part of the initial rollout:

- Delhi
- Mumbai
- Kolkata
- Nagpur
- Coimbatore (Tirupur)
ASUS intends to expand this initiative across additional regions, including smaller cities, in upcoming phases. Alongside the Drop Zone rollout, ASUS has also launched a service camp in Pune, providing in-person diagnostic checks and repair guidance to customers.
